I hold a BSc in Animal Production from the University of Limpopo and have several years of practical experience in the poultry industry. I am currently working as a Poultry Supervisor, where I oversee daily flock operations, staff activities, biosecurity, flock health monitoring, feed and water management, farm records and general production activities.

My experience includes commercial layer pullet rearing, working with Ross birds from day-old chicks through 21 weeks, as well as supervising Ross breeder birds during the production stage. I have practical experience in brooding, environmental and ventilation management, vaccination programmes, flock weight and uniformity monitoring, mortality recording, feed management, water systems, lighting programmes, sanitation and biosecurity.

I also have previous experience in poultry processing, where I gained knowledge of production procedures, hygiene, sanitation, equipment operation and food-safety requirements.

I am particularly interested in opportunities such as Poultry Supervisor, Farm Supervisor, Poultry Production Assistant, Farm Manager, Hatchery Technician, Animal Production Officer or other suitable poultry-related positions.
