The objectives of the Developing Poultry Farmers' Organisation

The DPFO fulfill a dynamic Capacity Building and Advocacy role, and exert pressure to mobilise resources from various quarters, including government and the donor community.


The DPFO started a dynamic process that will enable emerging poultry farmers, from previously disadvantaged communities, to finally move into the mainstream of the economy. This journey is gaining great momentum now that some guaranteed funding through the levy is available.
